Helpful Guidelines

Terms and Conditions

By hiring CMC Professional Solutions, LLC to perform any service for your home or business site, you agree to comply to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to deny and/or terminate service because of safety concerns, inappropriate or uncomfortable situations, weapons on-premises, severe clutter, or disconnected utilities.  We have the choice to leave if the home or business site is in an extremely unsanitary condition or if we feel unsafe or threatened.

Service Day Preparation

Your price for any service(s) requested will be provided based on us focusing all of our time on performing the service(s) that you were quoted.  We ask that you take a few minutes to provide our company easy access to the areas/surfaces to be worked on.  If you would like our company to do any additional tasks for you, let us know in advance so that your price can be adjusted for the additional time.

Pets

We will gladly work around pets, however, if your pet becomes anxious or presents a safety concern, our company reserves the right to remove ourselves from your home.  We also do not enter any work site if we believe an animal is a threat.  

Payments

Payments must be made on the day of service by cash or check.  A $35 returned check fee will be charged for any returned checks that are not able to be deposited due to insufficient funds, check cancellation, or any other customer financial/banking circumstance that prevents the deposit of such payment to be made.

Recurring Service Discounts

Recurring discounts start AFTER the first service, if you skip services so that your service frequency is lower than what you were set up for, your price will be increased to the pricing level for the lower frequency.

Rate Increases

Client’s service rate adjustments may be made at any time during the year should there be any changes to the frequency of client’s service schedule or home, business site, living situation, or working situation: remodels/additions to the existing home or business site, etc. Customer rate shall be increased annually, by an amount not-to-exceed 10% of client’s current rate.

Lockouts

Client shall make the service location accessible to CMC Professional Solutions, LLC personnel on the scheduled service day.  If we are locked out of the Client’s home or business site, every effort will be made to establish contact with Client to arrange for entry into the home or business site.  If contact is not made within 20 minutes of the arrival of the cleaning team, the scheduled service will be skipped and you will be charged an $50 late cancellation fee.  This fee is necessary to compensate our company for unexpected lost revenue and travel time, to avoid the fee you can provide us with a key or code to gain entry into your home or business site.

Rescheduling and Cancellations

Service reliability is extremely important because we reserve a time especially for you.  We request that you give us a minimum 24-hour advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason to avoid incurring an $50 cancellation fee.

Alarm

If your home or business site is equipped with a security system that will not allow us to perform the services that you requested, please ensure that it is in the off position or call us to provide the code and proper directions for use.  If the code should change please let us know.  If we are unable to enter the premises to perform the service you requested, the scheduled service will be skipped and you will be charged an $50 late cancellation fee.

Use of Customer's Cleaning Equipment or Supplies

If you request to use your own cleaning equipment or supplies, we will not assume or accept any liability for damage to the equipment or supplies.  Since we are not responsible for the maintenance of the equipment or supplies, we will not be responsible for any repairs, damages, or replacements.  This is important because if the equipment or supplies are not in working order when we arrive to perform our services, we will be unable to provide our services to you.

Cleaning Supplies

We provide the equipment and products needed to thoroughly perform our services for you.  We use biodegradable/green cleaning products, specialized cleaning products, and standard cleaning products depending on the service required.  If you require us to only use biodegradable/green cleaning products, please let us know before we start our services.

Items We Cannot Clean

Mold removal is a specialty, we cannot be liable for any mold-related risks in client’s homes or business sites.  We cannot clean hoarding homes, hoarding business sites, or areas containing any animal or human body fluids, blood, feces, vomit, cat litter boxes, bird cages, urine, or excretions.

Heavy Items

For safety and liability reasons we cannot move objects heavier than 35 pounds.  If you would like cleaning or lawn care services to be performed behind or under heavy objects that are in the way of the service area, please move prior to service.

Breakage, Damage, and Loss Policy

While an occurrence is rare, the possibility of breakage or damage is present while we perform any of our services.  We exercise reasonable care when cleaning or performing lawn care services at your home or business site, we carry insurance for damage or breakage caused by us.  We are not liable for damage that is caused by normal wear and tear or improper installation of an item in your home or business site.  We are not liable for damage to items not disclosed during the site consultation process.  These items include but are not limited to the following: Artwork, Collectibles, and Family Heirlooms.  These items are expensive and impossible to replace.  The client should point out such items to us before starting service and advise us how you would like your fragile items handled.  Notification must be made within 24 hours from the time service was performed for any breakage/loss of any personal items.  Identical replacement is always attempted but not guaranteed.

Satisfaction Guaranteed Policy

We have built our business providing our clients high quality services, still, we realize that we are human.  In the rare case that you are not satisfied, email or call us within 24 hours from the time service was performed and we will rectify the error at no charge.

Service Arrival Window

We schedule our cleanings in an order that requires the least amount of drive time in an effort to maintain low prices and avoid trip fees.  If you require a specific time of service, we will make every effort to accommodate your request, however, times cannot be guaranteed.  Due to the unpredictable nature of our business and unforeseen circumstances such as traffic jams, weather, mechanical problems, etc., please allow us the flexibility of arriving no more than 30 minutes earlier and no more than 45 minutes later than your scheduled appointment.  If we are running late we will always call you to let you know.

Holidays

CMC Professional Solutions, LLC does not do holiday visits.  If your scheduled service day falls on a holiday we will contact you to reschedule.  The following holidays will be observed:  Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve (Services Are Provided Until 2pm), Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

Inclement (Severe) Weather

If inclement weather arises we will be closed for business.  If your scheduled service day falls on a day where there is inclement weather, we will contact you to reschedule.

Key Release

Client keys are coded and stored inside a locked cabinet to which only the owners of CMC Professional Solutions, LLC have access.  In the event the client chooses to leave a door unlocked or place a key under a mat or any other unsecured place for us to gain entry into the home or business site, CMC Professional Solutions, LLC will not be held liable for any damages or theft to the service site.  Upon termination/cancellation of services, CMC Professional Solutions, LLC shall return any client key(s) in its possession no later than 48 hours after termination of services or the next business day.

Governing Law

Any claim relating to CMC Professional Solutions, LLC website shall be governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict to law provisions.  We have taken every effort to design our website to be useful, informative, helpful, and honest.  Hopefully we have accomplished that and ask that you let us know if you would like to see improvements or changes that would make it even easier for you to find the information you need.  CMC Professional Solutions, LLC reserves the right to change its terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
